The Ground on Which I Stand

This PBS documentary from the American Masters series, chronicles the life and writings of American playwright and Pulitzer Prize winner, August Wilson (April 27, 1945 – October 2, 2005). The Ground on Which I Stand is the title of one of Wilson’s seminal speeches and the title of this award-winning film, premiered on February 20, 2015 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Wilson’s birth, the 10th anniversary of his death, and Black History Month.
