"People's Choice" Quilt Awards

WOODSTOCK, VERMONT....Billings Farm & Museum announces the results of the "People's Choice" awards for the 21st Annual Quilt Exhibition held August 4th through September 23, 2007. The exhibit featured the recent work of area contemporary quilters. Over 10,000 visitors viewed the exhibition and over 2,000 ballots were cast for favorite quilts. The results:

FULL SIZE QUILTS

1st Place: Autumnal Weeks, Susan Sarcia, Woodstock
2nd Place: Sarah Johnson Quilt, Linda C. Brown, White River Junction (Linda also received the Curator's Choice Award.
3rd Place: Charmed Again, Sandra Palmer, Woodstock

SMALL QUILTS/WALL HANGINGS

1st Place: Crop Circle, JoAnn Shapp, North Pomfret
2nd Place: Baltimore in Blue, Susan Hall, Hartland
3rd Place: How Does your Garden Grow, Joan Wanner, White River Junction
