Christmas at the Farm

Travel to Victorian Christmas past, December Weekends and Daily from Saturday, December 21, 2024 – Sunday, January 5, 2025, 10:00AM – 4:00PM.  (Closed December 24 & 25.)

Discover the charm of Victorian Christmas as you explore our authentically decorated farmhouse parlor.  Enjoy the festive holiday tree and decorations that fill the Visitor Center and historic barn.  Dip your own candle and make mini mince pies to take home.  Warm up by the outdoor firepits with hot cocoa, hot spiced apple cider, and cider donuts available for purchase in the Museum Gift Shop. Light adventure can be found on a snowshoe, hike, or cross-country ski along the Ottauquechee River, weather permitting.

On the farm, you can meet our Jersey cows, draft horses, chickens, sheep, and goats in the barns. Take a horse-drawn sleigh or wagon ride through the picturesque pastures, weather permitting, on select days from 11:00AM to 3:00PM. Additional fee required. Dates include:
