Make a mini mince pie in the Learning Kitchen. \nToast s’mores at the outdoor fire pits and warm up with a steaming cup of hot cocoa or coffee\, available for purchase. Light adventure can be found on a snowshoe\, hike or cross-country ski around the snowy pastures\, weather permitting. \nOn the farm\, guests can meet our Jersey cows\, draft horses\, chickens\, sheep\, and goats in the barns. \nOn select days take an old-fashioned horse-drawn wagon or sleigh rides through the picturesque farmstead in winter\, conditions permitting. Sleigh rides will be offered December 8\, 10\, 19\, 21\, 28\, and 30. Children can enjoy Garden Story Time\, Sensory Play in the gardens\, and lawn games. Bring a picnic blanket and listen to the Vermont Fiddle Orchestra from 11:00AM-2:00PM. Additional activities include mini bouquet making (while supplies last)\, botanicals crafts\, ice cream making\, and more! National Park admission and garden programs are all free of charge. They will host their 10th Annual Great Tomato Tasting from 1:00PM – 2:00PM\, featuring over 50 varieties\, followed by a Q&A session and tour of the tomatoes grown in the garden’s high tunnel. Experience a Sound Bath\, take a Family Sensory Tour\, delve into the ‘What’s in Bloom Programs’\, and make fresh berry ice cream.
