DESCRIPTION:Celebrate all things sheep and wool with a weekend of shear fun on Saturday\, April 22 and Sunday\, April 23\, 10:00AM- 5:00PM!  \n\n\n\nMarvel at the speed and skill of border collies as they bring the flock together in live Border Collie Herding Demonstrations at 11:00AM\, 1:00PM and 3:00PM  \n\n\nSee sheep shearers’ balance of physical strength and finesse with Live Sheep Shearing Demonstrations at 12:00PM and 2:00PM  \n\n\nFill out a Sheep & Wool Passport as you follow the stages in the sheep-to-wool process and collect stamps from stations all around the farm.  \n\n\nGet hands-on—pick straw and dirt from freshly sheared wool at the Skirting Station and learn to card wool at the Carding Station. \n\n\nSee the creative possibilities with demonstrations of felting\, knitting\, crocheting\, drop spindle and wheel spinning\, and weaving on a loom.   \n\n\nAdmire the final wool transformation in the colorful Dyeing Display.      \n\n\nSee historic sheep-shearing tools on display   \n\n\nSpin your own woolen bracelet to take home \n\n\nEVENT UPDATE: NO FOOD TRUCK TODAY\, Sunday\, April 23. Ice cream and snacks may be purchased at the Farmhouse Scoop Shop. The Wicked Awesome BBQ Food Truck will be serving up traditional American BBQ on Saturday.  What better way to compliment a great meal than with the sweet treat of Vermont-made ice cream from the Farmhouse Scoop Shop\, open Saturday and Sunday from 11:00AM – 4:30PM.  Sample local sheep’s milk cheeses from Fat Sheep VT on Saturday.   \nGuests may purchase advance tickets online to expedite the check-in process.
