Winter Celebration on the Farm 2025

Travel to Victorian Christmas past, December 6th-7th and Daily from December 20, 2025 – January 4, 2026, 10:00AM – 4:00PM.  (Closed December 24 & 25.)

Discover the charm of Victorian Christmas as you explore our authentically decorated farmhouse parlor.  Enjoy the festive holiday tree and decorations that fill the Visitor Center and historic barn.  Dip your own candle to take home.  Warm up by the outdoor fire pits with hot cocoa, hot spiced apple cider, and cider donuts available for purchase in the Museum Gift Shop. Light adventure can be found on a snowshoe, hike, or cross-country ski along the Ottauquechee River, weather permitting.

On the farm, you can meet our Jersey cows, draft horses, chickens, sheep, and goats in the barns. Take a horse-drawn sleigh or wagon ride through the picturesque pastures, weather permitting, on select days from 11:00AM to 3:00PM. Select days include: December 12, 14, 27, 28 & 30, January 1 & 3. Public sleigh rides are included with admission to Billings Farm & Museum.

Shop for the holidays in the Museum Gift Shop.  Peruse our unique selection of local Vermont gifts, children’s books, adorable stuffies, specialty food items, and, of course, Billings Farm cheddar!  There’s sure to be something for everyone on your list! (No admission required.)
