This 30-minute film by Academy Award®-winning documentary film maker Charles Guggenheim has received much critical acclaim and numerous awards, including an Academy Award® nomination for best documentary short subject. The film serves as an introduction to the Billings Farm & Museum and the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, and examines the history of conservation stewardship in America as it is reflected in this property and through the work of George Perkins Marsh, Frederick Billings, and Laurance S. and Mary F.
