Topics include site selection and preparation\, choosing varieties and rootstock\, proper planting techniques\, and post-planting care. Participants will gain valuable insights through a guided tour of the Billings Farm orchard. This workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and confidence to plant\, grow and care for apple trees.

Take a walk through the orchard\, harvest apples\, and enjoy a freshly peeled snack. \nSensory Story Hour is a movement-rich\, interactive experience designed for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers. Through stories\, song\, poetry\, rhymes\, sensory exploration\, and farm-themed activities\, children will build early literacy skills while engaging with the sights\, sounds\, and textures of the farm. A local Vermont snack will be provided\, and advance registration is recommended.
