“Jessica’s Garden started out as a winter project, while Jessica was spending some weekends in my home. The top of the quilt comes from the fabric that Jessica had picked, while we were out on one of our shopping trips. The half square triangle is a block that I’m familiar with, so we decided that was the block to use. After spending a good hour placing the half square triangle in different ways to form the larger block, we finally came up with one that Jessica and I both liked. We are calling it the Diamond and Star pattern.

We never thought that this quilt, that was being made to keep Jessica’s legs warm in the winter, would end up at such an amazing place as Billings! We are both excited to have the quilt available for the community to see. ”
