“My great-niece Sawyer Jean was born Dec. 27, 2019 on her Grandam Robin’s birthday. When Marlene Rand sent me a picture of this hexagon butterfly, I knew I wanted to make it for Sawyer.

I quilted it at Caspian Lake. Having misplaced my quilting bag, I used my fingernail instead of a thimble. That’s why its sparsely quilted.”
