5K Milk Run

 

Saturday, June 27, Check-in starts at 8:00AM, Race starts at 9:00AM

It’s time to get “moo”ving!
Kick off Dairy Celebration with our first-ever Milk Run, a fun, family-friendly 5K walk or run winding through mowed paths and scenic pastures at Billings Farm.

Enjoy live music along the route and celebrate at the finish line with milk and cookies. The fun continues throughout the day with Dairy Celebration, featuring hands-on activities like butter and ice cream making, cheese tastings, and more. Dairy-themed prizes will be awarded for top finishers and best dressed (costumes encouraged!)

Advance registration is $30/person, $25/members, $15/children (ages 15 and under), and $35 on the day of the event.  Registration includes admission to Dairy Celebration. Spectator tickets available at check-in.

General Information and Logistics: 

Parking 

  • Parking is located adjacent to the Visitor’s Center with additional overflow parking located across the street from the main entrance. 

Pricing in advance 

  • $30/person 
  • $25/member 
  • $15/children (15 and under) 

Day of Pricing 

  • $35/person 
  • $20/children (15 and under) 
  • Spectator tickets are $10/person and only available on the day of the race. 

Timing – Saturday, June 27, 2026 

  • Check-in begins at 8:00AM 
  • Race starts at 9:00AM 
  • Most participants are expected to complete the course in approximately 35-60 minutes. 

Course: 

  • The 5k course begins at the Visitor’s Center and winds through mowed pasture paths, fields, and farm lanes. Participants complete two laps around the course. 
  • Please note that the route includes uneven terrain and grassy pathways. 
  • The entire race is on Billings Farm & Museum property and will not travel on public roads. 

Participants Receive: 

  • Milk and cookies at the finish line 
  • Awards for the top three male and female finishers 
  • Prize for best costume 

Strollers and wagons: 

  • Strollers and wagons are permitted, though uneven terrain and grassy pathways make portions of the course challenging.
