Explore three stunning gardens in sites across Woodstock. Discover the shared story between Billings Farm & Museum, the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, and the Woodstock Inn & Resort’s Kelly Way Gardens. As part of the Woodstock Foundation, the sites will also be commemorating the 20th anniversary of the passing of Laurance S. Rockefeller, a visionary whose passion for conservation, sustainability, and heritage has left a profound and lasting impact on Woodstock.
Enjoy garden tours, live music, crafts, and activities for all ages across these three locations. Experience a diverse array of gardens, each with its own unique purpose.
Marvel at the Sunflower House where more than 50 varieties of sunflowers in all colors and sizes will fill you with wonder. Stroll through the Farmstead Garden, which features Heirloom, Victory, Pollinator, Permaculture, Chef’s, Pizza, and Herb gardens, all demonstrating practices you can use in your own home garden. Take a garden tour, play lawn games, enjoy Herbal Tea Happy Hour, and join Childen’s Story Time in the Sunflower House.
Enjoy food truck fare from Sustainable Eats from 10:00AM-4:00PM and Vermont-made ice cream, snacks, and sandwiches from the Farmhouse Scoop Shop (available for purchase).
In tribute to Laurance Rockefeller’s legacy and positive impact, Billings Farm will offer VT and NH residents admission by donation on Aug 17. All others enter with paid admission, click here to purchase online tickets to expedite check-in.
Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park
At Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, the estate gardens reflect generations of stewardship. Additional activities include bouquet making (while supplies last), botanicals crafts, ice cream making, Artists-in-Residence demonstrations, and more!
