Storytelling is at the heart of what we do at Billings Farm & Museum. For the past 16 years, the Woodstock Vermont Film Series, produced by Billings Farm, has been an important outlet for sharing stories we don’t hear every day.
The Film Series is dedicated to sharing place-based stories of people near and far, engaging our audiences, and inspiring conversations that increase connections with each other and our world. The series continues to be curated and directed by award-winning Vermont filmmaker Jay Craven and produced by Billings Farm & Museum.
As a member of our film audience, you know that the Film Series provides vital cultural programming in the Upper Valley throughout the winter months, featuring nine highly acclaimed documentary films annually and hosting conversations with film directors, producers, and film subjects that are both unique and engaging. Thanks to loyal and enthusiastic filmgoers like you, we filled more than 1300 seats in our 96-seat theater over the course of 18 screenings this past season.
