“After being locked down for a year, the scrap stash had to come into play for this year’s entry.

I’ve always wanted to make an Irish Chain – so! These chains may be thought of as holding me in place during the pandemic lockdown, but I think of them as linking me to imagination and creativity.

The William Morris fabric scraps were beautiful and were saved for quite some time. I’m glad I could use them in this quilt that will always hold memories of the 2020 year like no other.”
