Learn about 19th century harvest activities on the farm! Harvest-themed activities, demonstrations, and crafts offered each weekend.
Sept. 19-20: Learn how to use your garden herbs and make your own tea bags from the Farm’s dried herbs.
Sept. 26-27: All about apples! Old-fashioned peeler demonstration & farm recipes. Plus take home seeds from our Sunflower House!
Oct. 3-4: Cider pressing demonstrations and make your own leaf art.
Oct. 10-11: Putting food by – demonstrations of historic methods of preserving food and make your own leaf art.
Oct. 17-18: Corn husking and shelling demonstrations, plus learn needle-free finger knitting.
Oct. 24-25: Threshing grain demonstrations (Saturday only) and pumpkin bowling!
Oct. 31-Nov 1: Learn about pumpkins and squash and take home recipes, plus pumpkin bowling!
Every week, find all 10 pumpkins hidden in our Farm Life Exhibit, taste the flavors of the season at our Dairy Bar, and take a Story Walk around the scenic pastures.
