Draft Animal Power

Learn about draft animals and their importance on a farm—both long ago and today. In the pre-recorded materials, we will meet our farm’s oxen and draft horses, and learn how they are trained. In the live session, students will look at some of the equipment used when working with draft animals and explore primary sources like artifacts and photographs from the past that show draft animals in action.
