Food is available at our Dairy Bar. We currently offer Wilcox ice cream, Billings Farm cheese, Norwich Creamery dairy products made from Billings Farm milk. Enjoy your refreshments and the scenic views on the adjacent slate terrace.
Picnic tables are located around the Billings Farm & Museum site. You may also bring a picnic blanket and enjoy our lawns.
Restrooms are located in the museum’s Visitor Center, and the lower level of the 1890 Farm Manager’s House near the Dairy Bar terrace. All restrooms are wheelchair accessible and have baby changing stations.

A drinking fountain and water bottle refilling station is located in the museum’s Visitor Center near the restrooms. A drinking fountain is located in the lower level of the 1890 Farm Manager’s house near the restrooms.
Note: Drinking fountains are currently unavailable due to COVID-19 safety precautions, however the bottle filling station is available for use.
Elevator and Wheelchair Access
Billings Farm & Museum is fully wheelchair accessible. The elevator in the Visitor Center is located in the hallway past the restrooms and brings visitors to the Farm Life Exhibits and Activity Barn. There is a ramp that provides access to the 1890 Farm Manager’s House entrance on the upper level. The lower level is accessible from the Dairy Bar terrace at the rear of the house.
Wheelchairs are available for use on a first come, first served basis. Inquire at the Ticket Desk.
