Backyard Goat Farming with Tina Tuckerman A Billings Backyard Series Presentation

WOODSTOCK, VERMONT . . . Have you ever thought about keeping a goat? The Billings Backyard Series presents Backyard Goat Farming with Tina Tuckerman on Saturday, June 5 from 10 – 11:30 AM. Tuckerman, a fifth generation Woodstock, Vermont farmer, and owner of One Chicken at a Time Farm, will share her wealth of knowledge about goats, including which breeds may be the best choices for your needs, basic care and space requirements along with information on milking goats and the uses for goat milk.

Billings Backyard is a series of workshops designed to teach sustainable living skills to adult participants and is underwritten by a generous grant from the SpringRiver Private Foundation Trust.
