Billings Bookworms Camp is a half-day program for campers who enjoy listening to fun stories about farming, nature, and animals. Campers will have the opportunity to meet our calves, sheep, goats and learn the basics of caring for each animal through hands-on activities. With the help of engaging and thoughtful exercises, campers will get to know our farm and all the parts that make it run smoothly. Some of the fun activities Bookworms Campers will be doing:
- Visit the National Historical Park
- Check out the tractors here on the farm
- Make sugar on snow in the middle of the summer!
The safety and care of your child is of the utmost importance to us while they are a camper at Billings Farm & Museum. We carefully vet and screen camp counselors, conducting both background and reference checks before hiring them to work with our campers. Our response to COVID-19 will continue to be updated as necessary. Campers and parents will receive prior notice of all other safety precautions and processes implemented at the Farm & Museum. Please let us know if you have any questions about our safety practices.
Proof of Age Required
Please note, guardians of campers must show one proof-of-age document on the first day of the session before the camper will be permitted to participate. Campers who do not have a proof-of-age document will not be admitted. Billings Farm & Museum will not retain any documents provided.
Acceptable documentation for proof-of-age:
- birth certificate
- passport
- signed doctors note

Session 1: June 23-27
Session 2: July 21-25
Time: 9 am – 12:30 pm; Drop off between 8:45 am and 9:00 am.

$255 for Billings Farm Members (see membership for all the perks!)
$290 for non-members
10% discount for the second sibling registered for the same camp session

Cancellation policy: Refunds can be given if notice is received prior to May 22nd less a $50 processing fee. No refunds after May 22, 2025. If you are requesting to move your camper to another session, we will do so if there is availability.
