Billings Farm Film: A Place in The Land
A Place in the Land, a 32-minute film by renowned documentarian Charles Guggenheim, is shown daily in the museum’s visitor center as an introduction to the Billings Farm & Museum and the adjoining Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park. Documenting the history of the estate through a century and a half, A Place in the Land lyrically presents the themes of conservation, stewardship, and sense-of place that continue to define the property to this day. A Place in the Landreceived an Academy Award® nomination for Best Documentary Short in 1998.
