An Update About Summer Camp Programming at Billings Farm & Museum
We are writing to let you know that we’ve decided not to offer our day camp this summer. We know that our campers have created so many wonderful memories here over the years, and we’re grateful to everyone who has been part of that experience.
This summer we’re shifting our approach so that we can welcome more young people from across the region to our farm and museum. Rather than running our own day camps, we’ll be hosting visits from more day camps and summer youth groups at Billings Farm & Museum. And we are also developing new youth and family farm-based programming that will offer opportunities for daily guests to our site to play, craft, and explore in new ways. I’ve had a chance to speak with a couple of families about this decision, and they have asked if we plan to offer day camps in the future. Right now, that is not our plan, but you will be the first to know if we decide to re-start our day camps!
I can imagine that this may be disappointing news if you were planning on having a child in your care attend our camps. Toward that end, we want to share some other wonderful day camps and programs in our area:
