Designed for curiosity-led learners and their caregivers, this program offers an immersive, interactive experience filled with movement, play, and hands-on exploration. Themed stations encourage skill-building, farm-based activities, and community connection to create meaningful learning beyond the classroom. Sibling discounts are available.

Discovery Days: Homemade on the Farm

Join us for a hands-on day of creativity where learners will discover how farming and crafting nourish both body and mind. This session explores the connection between agriculture and artistry, inviting learners to engage in traditional skills like butter churning, ice cream making, felting, and candle making. Participants will also create nature-inspired art and meet the farm’s Jersey herd.

Celebrate the rich history and flavors of apples in Vermont with a hands-on exploration of this iconic fruit. Learners will taste different apples varieties, press cider, and make homemade apple sauce. The adventure continues in the orchard with a scavenger hunt and apple-inspired art activities. Participants will also visit the farm’s Jersey herd and explore Vermont’s apple history in a special exhibit. Families are invited to end the day with a self-guided scenic fall hike at the National Park.
