Discovery Days: All About Apples

For Ages 6 – 13
$20/child (+ one caregiver), $15/member child (+one caregiver)

Celebrate the rich history and flavors of apples in Vermont with a hands-on exploration of this iconic fruit. Learners will taste different apples varieties, press cider, and make homemade apple sauce. The adventure continues in the orchard with a scavenger
hunt and apple-inspired art activities. Participants will also visit the farm’s Jersey herd and explore Vermont’s apple history in a special exhibit. Families are invited to end the day with a self-guided scenic fall hike at the National Park.

Designed for curiosity-led learners and their caregivers, this program offers an immersive, interactive experience filled with movement, play, and hands-on exploration. Themed stations encourage skill-building, farm-based activities, and community connection
to create meaningful learning beyond the classroom. Sibling discounts are available.
