Give thanks, share, and learn at Thanksgiving on the Farm, taking place Friday, November 29 – Sunday, December 1, 10:00AM – 4:00PM
Enjoy an experience for the whole family with 19th century Thanksgiving traditions, crafts, and food. Step into the past in the 1890 Farm Manager’s House to smell the delicious aroma of food cooking on the wood stove and see the food that graced the Thanksgiving table in the 1890’s. Join our “What’s for Dinner” program to learn more. Visit the Learning Kitchen to make and sample pie crust. Share your favorite traditions on the Sharing Wall and craft a woven paper placemat. Warm up by the outdoor firepits with hot cocoa, hot spiced apple cider, and cider donuts available for purchase in the Museum Gift Shop.
