An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until April 28, 2024
Join us for a weekend of fun, education, and adorable farm animals!
Meet the farm’s Jersey calves, piglets, and turkey poults and learn about their care on the farm. Special farm visitors will be on site to delight – including bunnies, chicks, and goat kids. We will also have lamb guests visiting from the Aker Fiber Farm.
Animal ambassadors will give guests a chance to interact with animals up close. Rangers from the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park will talk about baby animals in the wild and show their cuteness captured on trail cameras.
See live sheep shearing with experts Philo and Craig Marcotte, who will demonstrate the evolution of sheep shearing tools and educate visitors about the process.
Take a wagon ride around the farm from 11:00AM – 3:00PM. Children will enjoy story time with a farm friend and interactive activities including yard games and a chance to make a hand-print bunny, a peek-a-boo chick-in-egg craft, and a wearable seed buddy.
Delicious food truck fare will be available each day from 10:00AM – 5:00PM. The Sustainable Eats Food Truck will be serving coffee, baked goods, and lunch items. The Hangry Hogg food truck will be offering authentic Southern BBQ. The Farmhouse Scoop Shop will feature Vermont-made ice cream, snacks, drinks, and cotton candy.
And don’t forget to stop by the Museum Gift Shop for a great selection of baby farm animal-inspired gifts, mementos, and adorable animal stuffies to take home.
