Join us for a day of history-filled fun! We’ll learn more about the importance of harvest on a farm today and long ago and try a few harvest activities ourselves. Students will examine historic sources, including photographs and artifacts from the Billings Farm & Museum collections and exhibits, to learn what they can tell us about harvest seasons in the past. They’ll also learn different methods for preserving harvests as they peel and press apples into cider and husk and shell corn for farm animals.
Students MUST be accompanied by an adult. Adult transportation providers are free. Additional adults are $14/adult, $12/member adult. Additional adult tickets must be purchased at the Ticket Desk on the day of the session.
Advance registration ends at midnight prior to the session date. Contact us at email@example.com registration questions.
