This event is postponed due to safety precautions.
We know you are hearty folk, ready for any weather, and so are we! However, given the extreme cold we did not feel we could properly follow our COVID Safety Pillars, including maintaining safe physical distancing, especially around the fire. (Sadly, our natural inclination to huddle up is not an option these days!)
We are eager to thank you as a member for your support of Billings Farm & Museum. You will be the first to know when we have scheduled our next member appreciation event.
~ Snowshoe or walk the Billings Farm trail by torchlight as evening light begins
~ Learn about the wildlife here and the history of the land, guided by National Park rangers
~ Gather around the fire pit and warm up with complimentary s’mores, hot drinks and Vermont folk tales
Enjoy this socially-distanced and family-friendly event for all ages
Saturday, January 30 ~ 4:30-6:30 Thank you to Members!
No fee to attend
Don’t have snowshoes? A limited number of adult snowshoes will also be available, but to guarantee you have the
equipment you need, we recommend renting snowshoes at the Woodstock Inn & Resort’s Activity Center
or the Nordic Center in Woodstock. Both close at 4PM.
Bring a light! We highly recommend a headlamp or a flashlight to find your way between torches on the trail.
