A woman’s relationship with the natural world is often unique and meaningful. For women who own land, this connection can be rewarding as well as challenging. Join us for this special presentation by Olivia Lukacic, author of the “Woman on the Land: A Landowners Guide to Stewarding Her Woodlands” publication, on July 14th from 12:00-1:00 pm. In this virtual presentation, Olivia will discuss the journey of creating her publication and talk about some of the unique perspectives and challenges women have when it comes to stewarding their land, highlighting the stories of women throughout the United States. She will also discuss the various ways you can steward your land, such as passive stewardship, and provide advice for women who own property and want to be better stewards. Workshop is co-hosted with Billings’ Farm and Museum and co-sponsored by Vermont Coverts and Vermont Woodlands Association. Live closed captioning available!
