For foodies, our cooler is stocked with delicious treats, including an assortment of Vermont’s famous maple products, gourmet mustards, locally-made jams and jellies, and apple cider.
Billings Farm Cheddar
We’re delighted to offer three varieties of Billings Farm Cheddar, made exclusively from the milk of our registered Jersey cows. Drawing upon a nearly 150-year tradition of dairy excellence, our 100% raw milk cheddar is produced by the Grafton Village Cheese Company in Grafton Vermont, and carefully aged for at least 60 days, with no additives, preservatives, or artificial coloring. Our cheddar is available on-line, in our museum shop, and in local specialty shops across Vermont.
The Dairy Bar is open April through October with limited hours early and late in the season.
For a quick snack while you’re visiting, stop by the Dairy Bar, located on the ground floor of the 1890 Farm House. You will find Vermont-made Wilcox ice cream, milk, healthy snacks, seasonal hot and cold drinks, and a Farm Picnic featuring Billings Farm Cheddar, crackers, and fruit.
