SELECTION PROCESS & WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The exhibition selection committee includes members of the Billings Farm & Museum curatorial team. The committee will select approximately 50 quilts for display, featuring a spectrum of abilities and techniques. The selection committee is seeking a range of quilt styles from classic to cutting edge. Most importantly, weight will be given to quilts that tell a story or have a story behind them. Additional consideration will be given to the next generation of quilters, recognizing their important role in carrying on the quilting tradition.
