Renegade horse trainer Monty Roberts finds an unlikely ally in Queen Elizabeth II, who helps him overcome fierce skeptics to spread his gentle approach globally.

Roberts, nearing 90 and showing no signs of slowing down, recounts his life with horses, starting from his earliest days working in Hollywood westerns of the 1940s. Standing up against the traditional way of “breaking” horses, Roberts developed his own revolutionary approach through gentleness in human interaction with horses.
