Travel to Victorian Christmas past, December 6th-7th and daily from December 20, 2025 – January 4, 2026, 10:00AM – 4:00PM. (Closed December 24 & 25.)
Step into the wonder of a Victorian holiday as the farm is beautifully transformed with twinkling lights and seasonal décor. Walk through the Historic Farmhouse, adorned in traditional 19th-century holiday trim, with Interpreters on hand to share stories and traditions of holidays past.
Families can take part in timeless activities like candle dipping, apple tasting (including dried apples and homemade applesauce), and interactive butter making. Outdoors, weather permitting, guests can explore the Billings Farm Loop on a light snowshoe, ski, or hike, then warm up by the fire pits with a cup of cocoa, cider, or coffee, available for purchase.
Hop on a horse-drawn sleigh or wagon ride through the picturesque pastures, weather permitting, from 11:00AM to 3:00PM on December 27, 28 & 30, January 1, 3 & 4, conditions permitting. Sleigh rides are $5/person and can be purchased at the ticket desk, no reservation required.
NOTE: Sleigh rides scheduled for Tuesday, December 30 have been cancelled due to expected cold temperatures.
Before heading home, be sure to browse the Museum Gift Shop for unique, Vermont-made treasures, perfect for holiday giving.
