Enchanting Performance of Farm to Ballet  at Billings Farm & Museum, Saturday, July 23, 6:30PM

Experience an enchanting evening on the farm for the entire family.  Dancing vegetables, animals and even the seasons themselves come to life through dance in a joyful and entertaining show.  Billings Farm & Museum is pleased to host Farm to Ballet for a special performance on Saturday, July 23 at 6:30PM.  Doors open at 5:30PM.

With a mission to educate about sustainable agriculture through art, Farm to Ballet brings a fresh and playful twist to traditional dance. The beautiful choreography of dancers in colorful costumes brings joy and elegance to a grassy stage.  The ballet explores the relationship between farmers and land, natural food cycles, and the human role in ecosystems.

Visitors can bring blankets or chairs to view the performance against a bucolic backdrop, with sheep, cows, and draft horses in the fields.  There will be tasty treats available for purchase at the Farmhouse Café with delicious Vermont-made ice cream, fresh spun maple cotton candy, and Billings Snack Packs that include cheese, fruit, crackers and other savory items. Children can make and take home a bean buddy necklace, a wearable seed to nurture and grow.

Tickets are priced between $0-$35. Advanced tickets are recommended.  To purchase tickets, visit https://www.balletvermont.org/billings-farm–museum.html
