Evening on the Farm, Drink in Hand…Complete with Cows!  Moos & Brews & Cocktails Too! Comes to Billings Farm & Museum 

As the day moo-ves through dusk and into evening, the farm will come alive with live music, food, local craft brews, and moos! With the unveiling of the inaugural Moos & Brews & Cocktails Too! on Friday, August 12, from 5PM – 7:30PM, Billings Farm & Museum is thrilled to bring some revelry to the farm. 

Against the bucolic backdrop of pastures and verdant hills, guests 21+ can get to know the famous Jersey Moos and enjoy tastings, cocktails, and a beer garden featuring Outer Limits Brewing and craft spirits from the SILO Distillery. Local musicians Em and Nat will entertain the crowd with their Classic Rock sound.  The Wicked Awesome BBQ Food Truck will be serving traditional American BBQ for purchase. There will be tasty treats available for purchase at the Farmhouse Café with delicious Vermont-made ice cream, fresh spun maple cotton candy, and Billings Snack Packs with cheese, fruit, crackers, and other savory items. 

Guests can take pictures with a cow, get up close with an adorable calf, and receive lots of loving cow kisses. Knowledgeable Farm Educators are happy to share fun Jersey facts and details about the cow’s personalities. Always on a mission to educate, there will be interactive butter churning demonstrations and Billings’ Artist in Residence Margaret Dwyer will lead guests in making giant bubbles.  

The beautiful and revitalized Billings Farmstead Gardens will be open for visitors to take a stroll or a peaceful view. Guests can explore the living floral labyrinth of the Sunflower House. With broad brush strokes of blooms in all shapes and sizes and a colorful palette ranging from orange and red to golden yellow, the Sunflower House is a breathtaking and magical sight to behold.  

Tickets are $25/person, $20/members for ages 21+. This includes two tasting tickets, with additional libations available for purchase.  Please bring a valid photo ID to enter the event. IDs will be checked at the Visitor Center Entrance. Infants and children will not be admitted.
