NEW! Summer program at Billings Farm & Museum for kids ages 6-8 Join the Billings Bookworms! July 12-August 16
WOODSTOCK, VERMONT…Billings Farm & Museum is pleased to announce the Billings Bookworms, a new summer program for kids ages 6-8, offered on Mondays, July 12-August 16, from 10-11:30 am.
Each week, participants will read about and explore a farm-themed topic through activities and crafts. Topics include: Dairy, Taking Care of the Planet, Sheep, Gardening, Draft Animals, and Stewarding the Land. The 90-minute sessions include a story followed by a discussion, a snack provided by Billings Farm, and an activity such as feeding the chickens, making butter, or meeting the farm’s heifers, horses and sheep.
